什麼是公證
公證一詞以法律用語來說，為公證人就請求人請求公證之法律行為或私權事實賦予公證力，證明該項法律行為之作成或該項事實之存在。

- 國外文件需要辦理公證、認證時，必須先經過台灣(或台北)在當地的駐外 辦事處之驗證。
- 如果國外需要當事人提供出生證明證明文件，請先向戶政事務所 申請出生證中文版，再由我們幫您翻譯為英文或日文或其他外文後，再幫您拿到公證處辦理出生證明的翻譯本之認證。
註：所謂驗證，乃由領務人員就請求人請求證明或認證外國文書，以驗明、 比對文書上之簽字、鈐印或以其他適當方式予以查證。

注意事項
- 国外の書類が公証・認証を経なければならない場合は､前もって必ず台湾(あるいは台北)の現地の海外駐在機関において検証が必要となります。
- もし国外に当事者が結婚証明書を提供する必要がある場合､当事者は先に戸籍事務所において結婚登記証明書（原本あるいはコピー）を申請をしなければなりません。私達は英文・日本語あるいはその他の外国語へと翻訳した後､更に公証機関において結婚証明書（原本あるいはコピー）の翻訳の認証を行います。※証明書書式は台湾台北地方裁判所発行書類を参照願います。
注：検証とは､海外駐在員により申請された外国の文書を証明し､認証・署名や捺印の検証その他の適切な方式で調査し確認する作業を指します。

A notary is a person licensed by the government to perform acts in legal affairs, in particular witnessing signatures on documents. The form that the notarial profession takes varies with local legal systems.

Attention
When an overseas document needs to be notarized or authenticated, it must first obtain the verification of the Taiwanese (or Taipei) agency at the foreign country.
If the overseas agency requires the applicant to provide the marriage certificate, please first go to a household administration office to apply for marriage certificate (copy), then we will translate it to English, Japanese or any other foreign languages, and we will take the translated certificate to the notary public to be authenticated. (Data source: Taiwan Taipei Local court).
Note: The so-called verification must be done by the consulate personnel to authenticate a certificate or to certify an overseas document with the purpose to verify, compare the signature or seal on the documents, or by other suitable ways to verify authenticity.
